Windowsill Environment

For this project, I decided to go with a modeling discipline to brush up on my Maya skills. The goal was to recreate a prop or scene to match the reference as closely as possible. I chose an environmental scene of medicine bottles holding flowers sitting on a vase with sunlight coming through the window. I used a combination of directional, area and image based lighting to make the illusion of sunlight coming through the window. Everything was modeled in Maya, and all tertiary detail was sculpted in Zbrush.
