Moonbeam (WIP)

This is a work in progress of a MX-99/U flashlight that is used by the military, also known as moonbeam. This asset was modeled in Maya and is currently in its textured state. I fixed the UV's this week so that the high-res would bake better onto the game res. After I was satisfied with the outcome, I brought the asset into substance painter and worked some magic to make the asset resemble the reference.

Week 3 again, I looked at the critiques I got over the weekend. I added some more dirt elements to make the Moonbeam seem worn and used as if it were in a field op with the troops.

Week 3, I went into Substance and added base color, roughness, metallic, height and ambient occlusion to the asset.

References of two different models of moonbeams. The MX-99/U and a TL-132, both are nearly identical. (Updated)
