Belleau Wood Devil Dog Fountain

This is a game res model of the famous Marine Corps monument in Belleau Wood, France. This fountain was stumbled upon by Marines during WWI, and because the Germans nicknamed the Marines “Teufel Hunden” or “Hounds from Hell,” the Marines saw it fit to claim this “Devil Dog Fountain” as their own. It is an honor to drink from this fountain.

This asset was modeled in Maya, sculpted in Zbrush, and textured in Substance Painter over the course of one month for my Portfolio Class at Full Sail University.
